Dental Care for Lake Worth Beach, a Straight Shot Up I-95
Areas We Serve · Rudnick Dentistry
Cottage streets, a walkable downtown on Lake Avenue, and a beach that draws surfers: Lake Worth Beach has a character all its own. When you want a dentist who explains what’s urgent, what can wait, and what it costs, our Palm Beach Gardens office is one highway north.
Rudnick Dentistry is a privately owned general dental practice at 4274 Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens, about 15 to 17 miles north of Lake Worth Beach by car. Take I-95 north from 6th Avenue South or 10th Avenue North to Exit 77. Dr. Andrew Rudnick provides cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, urgent visits when the schedule allows, implants, and TMJ care.
Dentistry for a Town With Its Own Personality
Few places in Palm Beach County look like Lake Worth Beach. Cottage-style homes still fill the side streets of historic districts such as College Park and Old Lucerne, Lake Avenue keeps its old-town storefronts and galleries, and Bryant Park, with its Addison Mizner–designed bandshell, has long hosted festivals that celebrate the city’s Finnish heritage.
Whether you’ve lived here for decades or just moved into your first cottage, you deserve a dentist who shows you your X-rays, explains each finding in plain language, and gives you a written estimate before anything begins. That’s how we work with every patient who makes the drive from Lake Worth Beach.

Dental Advice for Lake Worth Beach Residents
During storm season, small preparations can keep a dental problem from becoming harder to manage.
Refill the basics
Keep a spare soft toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, floss, and your dentist’s contact information with your regular supplies. Do not rely on a temporary repair as a substitute for an exam.
Do not delay new pain
If a tooth is newly painful, cracked, or swollen before planned travel or a storm, call to discuss an evaluation while care is available.
Protect enamel between visits
Choose water more often than acidic or sweetened drinks, brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, and clean between teeth daily.

The Drive From Lake Worth Beach to Northlake Boulevard
Most of the trip is on I-95. From downtown, plan on about 15 to 17 miles, typically about 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.
Get on I-95 north. North of Lake Avenue, the 10th Avenue North interchange (Exit 64) is usually closest. South of it, use the 6th Avenue South entrance.
Stay on to Exit 77. Ride I-95 north past West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach to Exit 77, Northlake Boulevard.
Turn west on Northlake. The office is at 4274 Northlake Blvd, on the left (south) side of the road shortly before Military Trail.
Leave a little buffer. I-95 through West Palm Beach can slow at rush hour. Leaving 10 extra minutes keeps your visit on time, and if you’re running late, call or text so we know.
Everyday and Urgent Care for Lake Worth Beach Patients
Cleanings and exams. A thorough cleaning, digital X-rays when they’re due, and an exam of your teeth, gums, and bite. If something needs attention, we’ll say so plainly and tell you how soon.
Knocked-out or broken teeth. Surfing, skating, or cycling mishap? If an adult tooth comes out, hold it by the crown, rinse it briefly without scrubbing, keep it moist in milk, and call us right away.
Root canal therapy. Dr. Rudnick performs root canal therapy here in the office, using a dental laser in certain steps to help clean and shape the canals. Complex cases may be referred to an endodontist.
Bonding for chips and gaps. Tooth-colored resin can repair a chipped edge or close a small gap, shaped and polished to blend with the teeth around it.
Sedation for nervous patients. Nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation are available for suitable patients, and you can ask for a break at any point during treatment.
Dentures and snap-on dentures. New dentures, or a denture that snaps onto implants for a steadier fit. We explain both side by side, including cost and number of visits.

Questions From Lake Worth Beach Patients
How far is your office from Lake Worth Beach? From downtown Lake Worth Beach, we’re about 15 to 17 miles north by car. Take I-95 north to Exit 77, turn west on Northlake Boulevard, and look for us on the left before Military Trail. The drive typically takes about 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.
I chipped a tooth surfing. What should I do? Save any pieces, rinse your mouth with warm water, and cover a sharp edge with sugarless gum or dental wax if it irritates your tongue. Then call us. Many chips can be repaired with bonding or a crown, and we see urgent problems the same day when the schedule allows. If you have swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, go to the emergency room.
I don’t have dental insurance. How can I pay? You’ll get a written estimate before treatment, so there are no surprises. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards, and offer financing through CareCredit and LendingClub. Patients without insurance can also ask about our In-Office Dental Plan, and our team will explain whether it makes sense for you.
Can I be sedated for a root canal? For suitable patients, yes. Nitrous oxide wears off quickly, while oral conscious sedation lasts for hours, so you’ll need a responsible adult to drive you home from Palm Beach Gardens and stay with you. Dr. Rudnick reviews your health history and medications first to decide which option is safe for you.
Do you accept my dental insurance? Our team works with many dental insurance plans. We check your benefits before your visit, file your claims, and explain your expected out-of-pocket cost in writing. Call or text us your plan information and we’ll look it up before you make the drive.
