Dental Care for a Riviera Beach Workday and Weekend
Today the city is home to the Port of Palm Beach, a U.S. Coast Guard station, and its own marina. At Riviera Beach Marina Village, a water taxi runs out to Peanut Island and paddlers launch toward the Blue Heron Bridge. Under that bridge, divers and snorkelers gather at Phil Foster Park, where an underwater snorkel trail of limestone boulders and reef modules sits in 6 to 10 feet of water.

Dental Advice for Riviera Beach Residents
A dental problem can interrupt a workday or a weekend on the waterfront. Knowing the first steps makes it easier to act quickly.
For a cracked tooth
Rinse gently with warm water, use a cold compress for swelling, and call a dentist as soon as you can. Avoid chewing on the affected side until it has been examined.
For a persistent toothache
Clean around the tooth gently and contact the office for an evaluation. Pain that subsides and returns can still signal a problem that needs a diagnosis.
Between appointments
Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, clean between teeth daily, and choose water more often than sweetened drinks.

What’s the Quickest Way From Riviera Beach to Our Office?
Most trips are roughly 4 to 7 miles and typically take about 12 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day. Here is the route most drivers use, plus a surface-street option.
Take Blue Heron Boulevard to I-95. Head west on Blue Heron Boulevard (State Road 708) to the I-95 interchange at Exit 76 and get on I-95 northbound.
Go one exit north to Northlake. Exit at Northlake Boulevard, Exit 77, and turn left to head west. Our office is a short distance from the ramp.
Or stay on surface streets. From neighborhoods near the Riviera Beach library on North Congress Avenue, you can follow Congress Avenue north to Northlake Boulevard, turn left, and cross I-95.
Look for us on the left. 4274 Northlake Blvd is on the south side of the road, shortly before Military Trail. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of medications.
Treatment Riviera Beach Patients Come In For
These services cover the problems that tend to send people looking for a dentist quickly, and the follow-up care that keeps them from coming back.
Toothaches, cracks, and broken fillings. We reserve time for urgent problems and offer same-day visits when the schedule allows. Call early in the day, and we’ll tell you what to do until you arrive.
Root canal therapy. When decay or a crack reaches the nerve, root canal therapy can often save the tooth. Dr. Rudnick performs root canal therapy in the office; complex cases may be referred to an endodontist.
Extractions, explained first. If a tooth can’t be saved, we explain why using your X-rays, walk you through the removal, and talk about replacement options before the appointment ends.
Jaw soreness after diving or snorkeling. Some divers notice jaw aches after gripping a regulator mouthpiece for long periods. If soreness, clicking, or headaches linger, a TMJ evaluation looks at your joints, muscles, and bite, starting with conservative, reversible steps.
Replacing a missing tooth. A dental implant replaces both the root and the crown. Planning with a 3D CBCT scan shows bone height and width so Dr. Rudnick can tell you whether you’re a candidate.

Fitting a Dental Visit Into a Workday
We’re open Monday through Thursday from 9 to 5 and Friday from 9 to 2. If you work at the port or on a rotating schedule, text 833-247-9643 with the days you’re free and our team will suggest times that match.
For larger treatment, Dr. Rudnick can often split the work into shorter visits. Ask about phasing when you review your plan, so you can balance your schedule, your budget, and your dental needs.
