Your Dentist Near The Acreage, at the Other End of Northlake
Areas We Serve · Rudnick Dentistry
Out here, errands come in batches and every trip east counts. Our Palm Beach Gardens office sits on the same Northlake Boulevard you already drive, and we plan your care so you know exactly how many visits it will take before you start.
Rudnick Dentistry is a privately owned general dental practice at 4274 Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens, about 11 to 15 miles by car from most of The Acreage. Take Coconut Boulevard or Seminole Pratt Whitney Road north to Northlake Boulevard and drive east. Dr. Andrew Rudnick provides cleanings, same-day crowns for many teeth, root canal therapy, dental implants, TMJ care, and urgent visits when possible.
Dental Care That Respects the Acreage Way of Life
The Acreage traces back to the late 1950s, when Samuel Friedland’s Royal Palm Beach Colony began selling lots of about an acre on what had been the Indian Trail Ranch. That history still shows. Homes sit on an acre or more, many roads are unpaved, horses are part of the landscape, and the Acreage Branch Library on Orange Boulevard even has a hitching post.
Living this far west comes with space, quiet, and one obvious tradeoff: distance. Northlake Boulevard and Okeechobee Boulevard are the main ways east, so we try to make each visit worth the drive, with clear treatment plans, same-day crowns for many teeth, and larger plans phased to fit your schedule.

Dental Advice for The Acreage Residents
A longer drive is easier to manage when you know which dental changes can wait for a scheduled visit and which need a call.
Call about swelling or severe pain
Do not plan to wait for a routine cleaning if a toothache intensifies or swelling appears. Explain the symptoms when you call so the team can advise on the next available evaluation.
Keep an injury plan
For a cracked tooth, rinse gently with warm water and use a cold compress for swelling. If a permanent tooth is knocked out, keep it moist and seek care immediately.
Keep prevention close to home
Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, clean between teeth daily, and arrange follow-up before leaving your visit when ongoing treatment is needed.

Getting Here From The Acreage and Loxahatchee
Your route depends on whether you live closer to Northlake Boulevard or Okeechobee Boulevard. For most of The Acreage, the trip is about 11 to 15 miles and typically takes about 25 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.
From the northern and central Acreage
Take Coconut Boulevard or Seminole Pratt Whitney Road north to Northlake Boulevard and turn east. Stay on Northlake past Grassy Waters Preserve, the Beeline Highway, and Jog Road. Once you cross Military Trail, our office at 4274 Northlake Blvd is on the right, on the south side of the road.
From Loxahatchee Groves and the southern edge
If Okeechobee Boulevard is your nearer road, follow it east all the way to I-95, then ride north to the Northlake Boulevard exit (Exit 77) and turn west. The office is on the left, shortly before Military Trail. Plan on about 18 to 19 miles, typically about 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic and time of day.
On your first visit
Leave a few extra minutes for traffic. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of your medications, or ask us to send your forms ahead so you can fill them out at the kitchen table instead of the waiting room.
Care That Makes the Drive From The Acreage Count
When the drive is longer, it helps to know what can be handled in one visit and what needs a plan. These services are good places to start.
Same-day crowns. For many teeth, Dr. Rudnick scans, designs, and mills a ceramic crown in a single appointment. You leave with your final crown instead of a temporary and a return date.
Root canal therapy in our office. When decay or a crack reaches the nerve, Dr. Rudnick performs root canal therapy here, using a dental laser during certain cleaning and shaping steps. Complex cases may be referred to an endodontist.
Dental implants, planned before treatment day. A 3D CBCT scan shows bone, nerves, and sinuses in three dimensions, and a custom surgical guide carries that plan into treatment. Bone grafting is added only when it’s needed.
A sore or clicking jaw. A TMJ evaluation looks at your joints, muscles, and bite, using T-Scan bite analysis and jaw movement measurements. Care begins with conservative, reversible steps like a custom orthotic and TENS.
A tooth that won’t wait. Call 561-625-1991 before you head east. We set aside time for urgent problems and see same-day patients when the schedule allows.
A Dental Checklist for Hurricane Season Out West
Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30. When a storm disrupts power, water, or roads, a few dental basics in your kit make the days after easier.
Spare toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss for everyone in the house
Bottled water set aside for brushing if water service is interrupted
An over-the-counter pain reliever you’ve taken safely before, used as directed on the label
Night guards, aligners, or denture supplies, plus a case to keep them clean
A photo of your dental insurance card and our number, 561-625-1991, saved in your phone
If a tooth starts bothering you as a storm approaches, call early so we can try to see you before conditions change

Questions From Patients in The Acreage and Loxahatchee
How far is Rudnick Dentistry from The Acreage? From the central Acreage around Coconut Boulevard, our office is about 11 to 12 miles away; from the western edge near Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, it’s closer to 13. Either way, nearly the whole trip is on Northlake Boulevard, and it typically takes about 25 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.
Do you see patients from Loxahatchee and Loxahatchee Groves? Yes. We welcome patients from Loxahatchee, Loxahatchee Groves, and The Acreage. If you live closer to Okeechobee Boulevard, the I-95 route to the Northlake Boulevard exit can be simpler than cutting north to Northlake. Our team is glad to talk through directions when you call to schedule.
Can I get several things done in one visit to save a trip? Sometimes. Same-day crowns, for example, let many patients finish a crown in a single appointment. Whether other treatment can be combined depends on your health, your comfort, and the work involved. Dr. Rudnick will explain what can reasonably be done together and what is better spaced out, so you can plan your trips east.
Is it worth the drive for TMJ care? If jaw pain, clicking, or morning headaches are affecting your days, a thorough evaluation may be worth the trip. As a general dentist with LVI training in bite and jaw function, Dr. Rudnick first measures how your jaw moves, how your muscles respond, and how your teeth meet. Only then does he suggest a plan, starting with conservative, reversible steps.
What should I do if a tooth breaks and I live out west? Call 561-625-1991 before you get in the car and tell us what happened. Time is held each day for urgent needs, and we’ll offer a same-day visit if the schedule allows. Save any broken pieces, rinse gently with warm water, and avoid chewing on that side. For facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How do you handle insurance and payment? We verify your benefits, file claims for you, and give you a written estimate before treatment. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards, and offer financing through CareCredit and LendingClub. If you don’t have insurance, ask about our In-Office Dental Plan.
