A Dentist Who Understands the Juno Beach Pace
Juno Beach has always been a quiet stretch of coast. When the town incorporated in 1953, about 130 people lived here year-round, and the population swelled to roughly 1,500 each winter. A few years later, the garden club named the streets after planets and Roman gods, which is why your drive might start on Saturn Lane or Universe Boulevard, home of Florida Power & Light’s headquarters.
The beach itself is the town’s pride. It ranks among the most densely nested sea turtle beaches in the world, and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Loggerhead Park cares for injured turtles in its on-site hospital. Across U.S. 1, the Juno Beach Pier reaches about 990 feet into the Atlantic, and the trails of the 569-acre Juno Dunes Natural Area climb to the highest natural point in Palm Beach County.
Many Juno Beach residents are retirees or part-year residents, and their dental questions often reflect that: a denture that no longer fits, a bridge that’s been in place for decades, or gums that need closer attention. We welcome patients from Juno Beach and plan care around how you actually live.

Dental Advice for Juno Beach Residents
Walking, cycling, and time outdoors can shift attention away from dry mouth or sensitivity until it becomes bothersome.
Keep water nearby
A dry mouth can raise the risk of tooth decay. Sip water during outdoor activities and mention persistent dryness, especially if it began after a medication change.
Respond to sensitivity
New sensitivity to cold or sweets has several possible causes. If it persists, an exam is more useful than guessing whether whitening products or brushing are responsible.
Maintain prevention
Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste and clean between teeth once a day, even when your schedule changes for the season.

Two Easy Routes From Juno Beach
Plan on roughly 7 to 10 miles by car. The trip typically takes about 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.
The coastal route: U.S. 1
From the Loggerhead Marinelife Center area, head south on U.S. 1, past PGA Boulevard, into North Palm Beach until you reach Northlake Boulevard, where Northlake begins. Turn right (west), cross I-95, and look for our office on the left, shortly before Military Trail.
The interstate route: Donald Ross Road and I-95
Take Donald Ross Road west to I-95 and head south. Exit at Northlake Boulevard (Exit 77) and turn right (west). Our office at 4274 Northlake Blvd is on the south side of the road.
Before your first visit
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of medications, and any recent X-rays or records from another dentist, including one in your other home state. We’ll review them so you don’t repeat images you don’t need.
Care Juno Beach Residents Ask Us About
Replacing teeth and keeping the ones you have come up often. Here’s how each option works.
Snap-on implant-retained dentures. Two or more implants give a lower denture something to click onto, which can make it noticeably more stable for eating and speaking. You still remove it each night to clean it.
Fixed full-arch implant teeth. All-on-X treatment typically uses 4 to 6 implants per arch to support a fixed row of teeth that stays in place. A same-day temporary arch is often possible while the implants heal.
Replacing an older bridge. Bridges can loosen or develop decay underneath after many years. Dr. Rudnick explains whether a new bridge or an implant bridge, which needs at least two implants for three or more teeth, suits your mouth.
Gum care and maintenance. Scaling and root planing cleans below the gumline when pockets have formed. A maintenance schedule afterward, coordinated with your travel, helps keep gums stable.
Jaw pain and morning headaches. Grinding or clenching at night can tire the jaw muscles. A TMJ evaluation measures your bite and jaw movement, and treatment begins with conservative, reversible steps such as a custom oral appliance.

Splitting Your Year Between Juno Beach and Another Home?
Larger treatment is easier when it fits your calendar. Dental implants, for example, usually need a healing period of several months between placement and the final teeth, so it helps to start soon after you arrive for the season.
Tell us your travel dates when you book. We can schedule cleanings before you leave, share records with your dentist in another state, and plan multi-step treatment so the steps that matter most happen while you’re here.
Questions From Juno Beach Patients
How far is Rudnick Dentistry from Juno Beach? About 5.8 miles in a straight line. By car it’s roughly 7 to 10 miles, which typically takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic and time of day. You can take U.S. 1 south to Northlake Boulevard, or Donald Ross Road to I-95 south, and then head west on Northlake.
Is it worth the drive from Juno Beach for implants? That’s your call, and we’re happy to help you make it. At a consultation, Dr. Rudnick examines the area, reviews any necessary X-rays, and explains whether implants, a bridge, or a denture fits your situation, along with timelines and fees. It’s often easier to decide once you’ve seen your own images.
My denture keeps slipping. What can I do? Sometimes a reline or a new denture solves the problem. For others, two or more implants that the denture snaps onto add noticeable stability, and fixed full-arch teeth are an option for suitable candidates. We’ll examine your gums and bone and explain each choice in plain language before you decide.
Can I be seen quickly if I have a dental problem while I’m in town? Often, yes. We set aside time for urgent problems and offer same-day visits when the schedule allows. Call 561-625-1991 as early in the day as you can. If you have facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
Do you accept my dental insurance? Our team works with many dental insurance plans. We verify your benefits before your visit, file claims for you, and give you a written estimate before treatment. If your plan is based in another state, call us with the details and we’ll check how it applies to care here.
